Space and tranquillity also attract golfers and yoga fans to Provence. Our tennis court also brings a little Roland Garros feeling directly to your holiday home. In the evening, you can end the day in comfort: with a glass of wine on the terrace, playing billiards or with an exciting book in our library.
Climbing
Exceptional climbing rocks in a unique landscape and the mild temperatures all year round make Provence an ideal place for climbers. With countless routes for beginners and advanced climbers, the Buoux climbing area on the Luberon is famous not only in the south of France, but all over the world. Also recommended are the routes on the walls of the Dentelles de Montmirail. If you want to spend an active holiday in Provence, our French country hotel is definitely the best address. Because from Domaine La Tulisse, you can easily reach the climbing areas of the region in a comfortable car ride on beautiful country roads.
Hiking
The region around the Romantikhotel Domaine La Tulisse is a true hiker’s paradise. The area is diverse and shows itself particularly varied in interaction with the seasons. In spring, the vegetation of southern France is bathed in lush green and the fruit trees are in blossom. In summer, you walk next to fragrant lavender and fields of poppies and sunflowers. Vibrant colours characterise autumn – then the vines in the wine-growing areas around Mont Ventoux glow in warm yellow, orange and red. Thanks to mild temperatures, you can even explore Provence on foot in winter. Discover hiking trails in secluded nature or combine your tour with a visit to a mountain village or a market. You can also discover historical buildings and thus a piece of history again and again during your excursions.
Cycling
A leisurely excursion or a challenging tour to the summit of Mont Ventoux? Our Romantikhotel is the ideal starting point for cycling tours of all kinds. The country roads are well paved and lead through a varied cultural landscape. In the hilly country and in the mountains, mountain bikers will also find a variety of cycle paths. Those planning longer tours can combine them with a picnic en route or a visit to a Provençal market. Domaine La Tulisse rents out its own bicycles and electric bikes. You also have access to the in-house bicycle workshop.
Horse riding
Provence is unique, with natural parks and secluded trails offering ideal opportunities for short or long horseback rides. Around Domaine La Tulisse, you can enjoy endless rides in the vineyards or in the oak forests. In addition, you can practise riding at our in-house riding facility with dressage arena and floodlights. In addition to the paddock, we have a tack room and three horse stalls. You can use the grounds with your own horse or with horses from the hotel (with moniteur). There is also a riding club about one kilometre away from our country hotel.
Yoga
Give yourself a gift with our yoga courses and unforgettable holidays in Provence. Surrounded by the Mediterranean vegetation of southern France, you will find your personal retreat in the tranquillity of Domaine La Tulisse. You will stay overnight in the comfortable suites of our country hotel and devote yourself to your yoga workshop during the day. Golf
In the beautiful countryside of Provence, you can also dedicate yourself to your golf game. In the Vaucluse, you will find several 18-hole golf courses and 9-hole golf courses. The Orange golf course, for example, is just a few minutes from the city centre. You play between the vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône. The generous golf course near Avignon is characterised by many trees and lakes.
Tennis
Do you enjoy playing tennis with family or friends? Preferably right on your doorstep? On our own floodlit tennis court you can relax and enjoy your game. Take a break on the terrace or reward yourself after the match with a dip in the pool.
